My Dua for Them

My dearest children,

Everyday I pray that may you always be under the blessing of Allah Almighty, stay healthy and happy, be the comfort of our eyes, protected from distress and difficulties, love and respect each other as brother and sister and most of all grow up as good Muslims.

Tonsillectomy and Herniatomy

Alhamdulillah, adik had safely had his tonsills removed and underwent the herniatomy surgery at the same time. He is recovering very well though he is having slight fever.  His doctor, Dr Asma said it would be normal to have fever as the post-surgey effect.

Potty Learning for Kakak

Kakak should have been diapers free by now as she is already 3 years and 5 months old ...

So last Tuesday, I decided to give her a try … her first potty learning.

10 am
Bath and gettin ready for day 1 training

Mama : "Kakak, hari ni tak pakai diapers tau.. Nak cen nanti bagitau mama ok
Kakak: "Ok"


11.30 am
1st accident. She wet her pants.

12.00 pm

Kakak "Mama... nak cen."
Bingo! And we quickly rushed to the wash room.
Mama: "Bagus Kakak. Mama sayang Kakak."

The rushing episodes continued for the next few hours,


All in all, it went well for today’s potty trial with just 1 accident and 3 false alarms
Well done to Kakak.
Before we went to bed later that night, ayah, mama and adik gave a big applause to Kakak and put on her diapers again. (Adik seemed as if he was enjoying this training too as he will excitedly follow Kakak to the wash room each and every time Kakak wanted to go)

We might consider to get Kakak her own potty chair after this.

This one appears to be cute but a bit mengada-ngada :)

Their Play Area

A living room is often considered as the heart of the home...
But for me, we have this special area for kakak n adik which usually keeps them entertained for hours and let their imaginations run wild ... (ok.. not so wild... with a little control from us)
So, since this area serves as a central gathering area for the four us most of the time, this play area definitely is the heart of our home.

Let me share what we have here...

The Kids @ Masjid Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin, Putrajaya

I'm not a pro but I love these photos though. It was taken during the solemnisation of my cousin at Masjid Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin, Putrajaya last February. Yup, only now I managed to upload it.

It is also known as Masjid Besi (Iron Msoque) among the locals.



I wasn’t really focussing on the solemnisation ceremony but was trying hard to keep the kiddos from running around the mosque or making any unnecessary scenes  :p

Alhamdulillah, all went well and we wish the bride and the bridegroom "Selamat Pengantin Baru"

Get Well Soon Sayang

1 March 2011.. A gloomy day today and it’s still raining outside.I’m on emergency leave today as I need to take care of adik.

Poor him, he had diarrhea with slight fever and been vomiting since yesterday.


He seems so restless

  

We went to the clinic twice last night and look at the bunch of meds he needs to take.



Please get well soon my dearest adik. Mama, Ayah and Kakak love you and we really miss your cheekyness



Enjoying Our Weekend

The kids really love to spend their time at this playground because they can have this playground all by themselves. Just them..well just us actually :)

Head lice attack!!!

It is so frustrating to find out that kakak has 'bugs' in her hair! ok, not to panic. We need to deal with it. We bought the anti lices shampoo and headlice watch out! We gonna get you..

**Update: kakak is finally lice and nits free :)
