Aqeel n German Measles

Aqeel was infected with the rubella virus or what is commonly known as german measles. It has been a week since the red spots first appeared. My husband and I mistakenly thought that the red spots were normal rashes due to the hot climate. It was when aqeel started to have mild fever and we had to bring him to a clinic then only we knew it was due to the rubella virus. The rash begins on the face and spreads downward.

Aqeel is recovering, Alhamdulillah and here are of a few photos taken during the 'spotty' period.

Nur Aqilah Liyana binti Bahtiar. Born 24 January 2008. The apple of our eyes. Nur bermaksud cahaya, Aqilah bermaksud 'yang bijak' dan Liyana bermaksud 'yang lembut'. Mudah-mudahan budi pekertinya seindah namanya. InsyaAllah.
